Cardiac Stress Tests and Echocardiogram
A cardiac stress test may be ordered if you have or are suspected of having coronary artery disease. These tests can evaluate your heart's response to stress or exercise. A stress echocardiogram or "echo" is an ultrasound-based procedure that shows how the heart chambers and valves are working.
